Translation?
Hey guys I need some help please. Can somebody post a picture of their electric windows, I would like to install them on my bus.
Thanks
Mofus has hand cranked windows. The less electronics to go bad the better for me. _________________ '87 Syncro passenger w/ 2.2L Subaru

Do you mean this stuff?

I'm sure it's possible with enough money. It would be a cool upgrade. I have no experience with it, though.

I think he/she wants to install power windows and would like a photo of what the installation would look like. _________________ -- 1987 Westfalia automatic (Captain Vino) |

IIRC the pictures in the Bentley are about as good at you are going to get. You really can't see much as its mostly hidden behind the interior metal of the door. |

just cut a hole in the outside skin, like Libby did to his floor. really simplifies things. _________________ Tencentlife said,

volks0 do you have this book?
wildthings mentioned it because it is a really good guide. I think there are some photos around in the samba's vanagon/eurovan gallery but you may have to dig, and the bentley book will have clearly marked wires/connections.
hope you can find this and make it work _________________ Julia

Looks like this guy is from Egypt, " The Mother of the World " ! (Well, maybe it is...), and he's a mechanic/body guy on VW's there. Seems like a bentley would be almost invaluable to him.
Alas, I have no photos of the power window mechanism. _________________ One of these days I'm gonna settle down,

Good on ya for finding that thread. Seems the Samba has "fans" all around the world.
Just imagine how lucky/ happy our society would be if 99% of our politicians rolled in a Vanagon or a Westy.

I can't tell from the look in your eyes whether that's a bit of silliness or a criticism. |
