One of the things lifting the rear does is make the CVs farther apart.
It could cause binding on the cages like you got.
Off-roaders will not run the c-clips on the ends of the axle and just leave it floating captured by the flanges.
It will pound on the flange seals on the trans end, so often you see those just pookied up with some RTV vs. running the seals.
So maybe you have a free fix available?

They are longer off road Empi crap with crap CV's They float too. No clips Wink Thats why I wanted that link to those other CV's - so when I drive it three, maybe four times a year, Ill be good. Cool Rolling Eyes

Like a month back I was driving the piss out of it as it was my work car. Now Im a Dodge man.

Room is open brother. Let me know when you coming down for a weekend vaycay. Razz

Sometimes the likes of a Dodge is the only solution to a bus problem!

Surf has been solid.
8 - 12’ at 20 seconds today! Shocked

Do need to get down there.
Let me get this here bus painted and back together and it’ll happen.

Wow, 12' at 20 seconds would be huge! Respect, if you paddle out in that.

They are EMPI CV's and longer drive shafts. The 10" is stock, with 15" tires on. The nose of my bus sits a little proud in front as well still after the lift and leveles perfect when my big ass is in it.

What length CV axles shafts are you running? I'm going for a pretty similar setup and want to compare.

I cant recall but I want to say stock, but they are Empi off road ones that don't have the clips at the end and are meant to float inside the CV.
