Getting the bus ready for a week long trip through the PNW and of course the turn signals quit. It started with the left turn signal blowing the fuse, i pulled everything out and checked it all. Couldnt find anything grounding but now the problem is as follows:
Turn signal left or right: lights come on, indicators come on, no flashing
Emergency flashers: lights all come on, indicators come on, no flashing
everything else seems to work, i pulled everything out from behind the dash for easy access and nothing looks like the manual or wiring diagrams. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction on what to try next, pictures of components attached.

if 1973-1979 check the hazard switch to see if the top popped loose. That and the symptoms happen to 99% of buses. The top can be zip tied back on. It is a design issue. The hazard switch is hot all the time so disconnect the battery when you get ready to explore. _________________ "Most people don't know what they're doing, and a lot of them are really good at it." - George Carlin

So many odd colored wires and blue crimps!, there's likely more than one issue at play here....
It's really important to mention the year of your bus when asking electrical questions, or any questions for that matter, your signature line can be edited via your control panel to reflect what you own. I see a chrome signal switch so it's pre 871, and a possible orange fuse box so early to mid 1970 perhaps?
If it's stopped blowing fuses the next thing to try is a correct flasher relay, that shitty silver cylinder isn't doing you any favors. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
Please don't PM technical questions, ask your problem in public so everyone can play along. If you think it's too stupid post it here

My fault, 1970 camper that had been severely messed with. Replacing all of the wiring is on my list of things to do next year.
You were correct i grabbed a flasher out of my 66 mustang and swapped it in and it fixed all of the issues. THis one looked brand new to.

Is your Bus a '70? (looks like maybe it is from the colour of the fuse panel)
Also the signal relay is incorrect. It might work but no year of Bay Bus uses a 2-terminal signal relay. _________________ SL |

A 70 needs 211-953-215C flasher relay, four prongs. That fact that you had something else means the wiring is likely very chopped up and needs tracing to see what's been modified.
or equivalents
Any flasher unit with 49, 49a, K or KBL and 31 will work. _________________ Craig K

Its all been chopped up, but it all works somehow. This winter I'll likely start over with a speedway minifuse hot rod harness and do the whole thing. _________________ 73 Super Build

Remember the wires in a bus can be longer than a hot rod might need.
Unless you rewire EVERYTHING custom, an option might be to order a stock dash harness and the custom fuse box and wires going to rear. Until then, be gentle with that fuse box. Brittle, and one-year-only. The white versions that don't break are getting impossible to find. _________________ Craig K

yeah everything under there is spliced, i was looking at some bus harnesses that are available instead of going with the hot rod ones. Quite the mess to figure out this winter. _________________ 73 Super Build
