I'm really proud to see my 1956 Golde sunroof Ghia featured in VolksAmerica Magazine 2023. It's a 12 page article. The car has been restored some 15 years ago and still looks the same as it did then... Great to see that people still appreciate my car! |

Well deserved!
Though there has been some nice restos here on the Samba I always thought your 56 set the bar then and to this day. As john said most of the parts you found are pretty much unobtanium today.

Nice to hear that my car is your role model, Jeff! But we started the restoration around the same time some 20 years ago. You just needed more time to finish it. 
Great to see all these rare parts you were able to obtain back then. And I love the fact that you have so much knowledge and detailed information about these early cars.
Keep up the good work! I hope to see it in the flesh someday! |

My wife bought me the VolksAmerica magazine for Christmas (I asked her to buy it for me) and wondered if the owner of the Ghia was on here!
