Hi there,

I just bought an original war/pre-war picture from a collector of what he told me was possible a KDF.

Can you tell if this is a KDF or something else:

Thanks, Al.

That's a Moris Minnor convertible.
Build from 1948 till 1971 so it's not a (pre-) wartime picture nor a vw.

IMO Is not the same car!
The door, the rear end, the door lock position, the wheels, the rear window...
are not the same.

It is something else... a wartime Opel Kadett.

There is no indication in that picture that the wheel being worked on is from the car in the picture.

So it may be a VW or even a KDF wheel that is from a car not in the photo.

The way the guy on the left is looking at him, I'd say its a first date.

The pic was offered at german ebay for a while. The description said "KdF car" but while it wasn´t one, I did not bid.

Nah, that was the British, the French and the Russians. Once we got in there, we took care of it. Wink

btw - my comment was in no way intended to be against gay people. Just thought maybe they were busy doing other stuff behind the lines.

That is very strange. Isn't it usually the other way around?
