anyone running a baja with heat extractors? If so, what is the rest of your exhaust like?
I'd like to build another baja, but I don't want to give up heat, and I don't want to run a gas powered heater |

Sorry...that came off rude. Here's what i have been running the last 4 years. Its a quiet pack from empi that has been cut and the muffler rotated for better clearence (it also got ripped off on one of those drunkin nights), In this pic it dosent have the heat exchangers on it, thats because i replaced them with simple J tubes since i dont need heat in the summer.

I'm runn'n an EMPI quiet pack with cheesy exchangers I bought from JC. Stay away from these (exchangers) unless you're on a tight budget (like I was) as they don't have the heat sinks inside that hold heat which equates to more heat to the cabin. I also added a 3" body lift which changes the heater hose from a fairly straight shot to a bit of an S. I think that's eating at my air pressure to the cabin area. I plan to add the add-on electric fan kit that's out there one of these days.
Here's what I have:

They work pretty well until the temp gets into the teens... _________________ It's mine now and I want a BAJA!!! |

I have been thinking about trying the oil cooler in the cab. Going to try it this weekend. |
