Is this illustration a correct representation of the factory headliner for a ‘67 Bug?
Are there areas that are listed as “dot” that should be perforated instead?
I’ve seen plenty of great photographs on The Samba, but can’t tell from the images where one texture ends and the other begins.
If the image isn’t accurate, then I’ll correct it so an incorrect diagram doesn’t pop up for folks searching this question in the future.

The illustration above is incorrect. The vinyl under the rear quarter window is dotted vinyl. (Think about the adhesive squishing out of the perforations upon installation )
Fixed it! (Note, the headliner above the rear quarter windows is not a separate panel as shown in the illustration. It is simply an extension of the headliner material that wraps down and tucks into the window welting. The last headliner panel at the rear (dotted) also tucks into the window welting.):
This is from my '65, but same for '67.

Thanks, ‘67 Florida. So it seems the only actually-perforated headliner that came stock were the center panels of the roof piece - and the rest (save the B pillar) were dotted? |

Fixed it for ya!
Wanna make some good $$$? Come up with a spot on reproduction of the dotted vinyl _________________ -Kent (BaT "daleallen")

Anyone know if the factory style headliners from cip1 are of good quality? Are they TMI brand? Thanks _________________ -'85 c10 5.3 LS, cam, heads, long tubes, x pipe, 3 inch spin tech's
