I just received my 'Zertifikat' from the AutoMuseum listing my Model 114 1954 Oval as having the following options. Can someone add 1954 Delux Sedan RHD to the current M Code list on the site (if deemed appropriate?)

M020 MPH Speedometer
M008 Unknown
M010 Unknown
M042 Unknown
M108 Unknown
The last one is very strange as this site lists this as optional torsion bars instead of struts? On a '54?

It also has
M079 Leatherette option, but does not state colour. The car is L41 Black, any ideas on which colour leatherette was available in 1954?

I can see light beige or red leatherette was an option from '55 onwards, on the technical section of this site but is there any evidence that red was a factory option in '54? Not questioning your knowledge but just interested where this information comes from. Was light beige also available in '54?
Thanks, Mark

Very nice, love the black piping on the red. I'm guessing that's an OG interior? Perhaps the paint/materials section of this website needs updating to include vinyl as an option on '54's?

Does anyone out there have black with beige vinyl?

Thanks, that more or less clears it up for me that M079 would be beige, I'll continue this part of the discussion on that thread.

Just to finish the M079 issue, I just got word from a previous owner that the car did indeed originally have a beige leatherette interior. This has been replaced some years ago with Black.

Thanks all...
