Hey guys,
So I mostly hang out in other Samba forums but I thought maybe a few of you would be interested in this projects. Let me start by Saying No Haters Please. It was my bus and I cut it up, it makes yours worth more. Beside 67 11 windows aren't the ones fetching all the money these days. This was probably a $2500 bus that could have been worth $8500 if I put $10k in it. So anyway this is my dream vehicle and it is finally coming together. Today I got it outside for a bath.
The Chassis is a 1971 710 Pinzgauer. This was a 4 wheel drive european military truck. The plan is to have it on the trail and cruising this summer.
It is going to be sweet. Here is a link to more pictures.

Brave man showing your project here.....
I love it. I've worked on and driven a few Pinzgauers, and they're quite indestructible.
Can't wait to see some in-action pic's
Is there any room for seats with that Puch engine? _________________ 67 Cal Look Beetle

OK. I'm going to ask. How are you treating the engine? _________________ Jason Hopper

I think it would have looked better if you hacked more of the pinz body and kept more of the split, such as the wheel arches. |

NICE!
Still, I think it would look better if it was also widened to fit over the wheels. This would allow for a lower V in the nose and keep the wheel arches. It would be closer to the original proportions, like a stock split's big brother. [/armchair quarterback]
Keep up the awesome work! _________________ Shawn
