Hi Gang,
I want this paint for my 69' Square. It seems darker and slightly more tan than Porsche polar silver.
Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!

Geez... the lighting... the monitor... who knows? Not an original Type 3 color... maybe Type 1 L96D? Try asking the owner.
Closest I can find is this:
which is DB172, anthrazit grey metallic. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

T, Thanks. I would ask if I knew who owned it but your pic looks just the same.
Thank you!

Go to a paint shop and have a look at the paint chips, I bet there are 50 colours that are very similar _________________ (06:31:07) RoachGhia: "i drink dick way too fast" |

I wish. It's an air suspended W112 Coupe, a really rare car. I posted that for the color of a Mercedes reference site I use, and, as I did, I noticed there's a few unusual things about it- fins more pronounced like a sedan, "300SE" vent chrome with vents on the rear pillar, and a little brake vent on the side fender. That's either a proto, super early car, or a very good, subtle custom. I've seen a few W112 Coupes and Cabrios in the wild, and none of them looked like that.
Here's a normal 300SEc, just in case anybody cares:
