Has anyone found a good replacement for the door buzzer? I'm looking for a nice quiet chime like on luxury cars. Actually, any chime will do aside from the spine scratching buzzer.

I've found the empty void left after I pulled the relay out to be a great replacment! Silence is bliss Laughing

The World used to be a quiet place.......
I'm trying to remember my first feed back car ...... I survived quite well with out key buzzers, seat belt reminders, heck...... I've even had cars WITHOUT A RADIO!!!! No lighted switches, etc for years, my first car didn't even have a gas gauge! .... I think my first venture into such luxury was my 68 2 door Chevy Chevelle...... One can survive quite well without a buzzer.

Seriously, chimes are simple things like relays. Find the one you want and wire it in utilizing the factory power and grounding set up.

In that same world people left their windows down and keys in the ignition... while parked with never a worry
