Can the rear trailing arms be removed without removing the wheel hub? It looks like there may be sufficient space to get a wrench on the two M14 nuts. I have new metric hardware so no issue cutting the bolts off.

If absolutely necessary will remove the M30 slotted wheel nut and wheel hub.

Thoughts?

During my last rear torsion plate adjustment on my 76 Westy, I left the wheel hub intact including the emergency brake cable and was able to move it enough to get it out of the way and completely remove the spring plate. I could have removed the trailing arm without any issues at that time.
