I cant stand starting things like assembling an engine and stopping halfway through UUGGHHH Mad ! I just finished setting in the crank and began lubing up the lifters and one felt a little rough so upon closer inspection I found this

This is a brand new set of Scat Hi-Po lifters. Can I run it like this? I really dont have the time to wait another week to get this done but if its an absolute no way then I guess Ill have to. Im wondering if I can just maybe file/sand it smooth?

And you have a problem because......???

That is the backside of the lifter. It does not touch anything other than your eyesight. Back in the case, Bruiser.
