First of all, hello.
I'm new to the VW community, I recently purchased a 70 square and I have some questions on how to convert to a 5 wide pattern using adapters. I know CSP makes a disk brake conversion kit however I don't want to fork up that much $$ as of yet.
Is there a way to use adapters without hitting the caliper if I'm looking to use 17x7 raider wheels? Or any other way without converting to a drum brake or the expensive brake kit.
Thanks! |

Most of the adapters won't clear the caliper. Those that do, will push the rim/tire out toward the fender lip. And forget about lowering with spacers, as there's not enough room. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
