Grey upgraded oil cooler O ring?

I noticed in the Bentley they make reference to an upgraded O ring for cold weather that is more resistant to splitting. Anyone know if this is available? They identify it as being silver/grey instead of the normal black.

VW used this seal for decades upgrading the design and materials used as they saw best.

If you are concerned about using the seal provided in your aftermarket gasket kit, go to VW and purchase one of these.....

038-117-070-A

You will bring home VW's most up to date design.
But order two, a spare is always good to carry.

Thanks - I expect to have strong pressure, plus we winter camp in it in the cold winter mountains. A spare is indeed smart, btw.
