Or try your local flaps for a Gates belt, part # 7395.

do you have an extra belt in your car for back up in case of breakage?most vw owners do,if so ,you can go to your local parts store and have them measure the belt on their belt gauge. if not, then buy an extra one and the belt size(??x???)will be printed on the sleeve.

otherwise,I can tell you a size when I get back to work from my litle car accident I had the other day(non-vw related thank god!)cause I'm not going out to the garage and poking around in this pain I'm in.

oh yeah,6 or 12v?,it makes a difference.

According to my 69 type3 owners manual, it uses a 9.5 X 1000 belt. so the length should be 1000 mm. I hope this helps.
