|

Just found this on the interwebs.. I must have seats like this. Can anyone tell me about them, how they fit, what they are,"are they 356 seats". Has anyone else tried this? I think it would be amazing to have them in a beetle.
Any info would be great, please and thanks.

They look more like 550 Spyder seats to me. They definitely look nice, but depending on the sliders, it would be a pain to get in the back without them tilting
Of course how many people sit in the back of a beetle |

yeah! they are 550s just don't know if I want to go through the trouble of retrofitting them. they look sweat though. I still have the seats, door skins, and carpet to do. Don't know what I want yet.
Also txoval going to be doing an engine build soon for Melinda couple more pay checks. |

These seem to be Speedster repop seats. There are several vendors on the 356 Registry web site. I had these in a '58 and they were great. |

Sparco makes a tilt mount. Others too probably. It bolts to the seat, you still have to come up with whatever it is you want to do to get them on a bug floor pan
you should probably sit in those seats first LOL _________________ Stop dead photo links! Post your photos to The Samba Gallery! |

Great thread as I embark on my 57' vintage speed build also. In conjunction are you considering period correct racy seat belts/lap belts? |
