Does anyone know whether it is possible to heat up this vinyl strip in the kitchen to restretch it? I know the edge strips can be done this way but I don’t know about this little guy. I know the vinyl wallpaper shrinks when heat is applied...

Yes. I have done it before. I removed it and carefully used a heat gun to warm it. A pot of very hot water would be better so you do not overdo it.

Absolutely. Removal is pretty easy and I used hot water to loosen it up. Great outcome. Definitely recommended.
