Hi I’m installing the door gasket on my 73 karma Ghia and I would like to know where do you glue the seal to the door side or on the back of the panel of the door

After lubricating it with something slippery, poke the rubber ball end .....
... into the hole.
On the later cars is a small plastic cover held in with a button
Then with contact adhesive brushed onto the "V" shaped back of the rubber an also the "V" in the door skin, door frame interface you push the rubber in place around the back and bottom of the inner door. You stop where the bottom reaches the front.
There is a small clip to help the rubber around behind the zig zag near the dress trims.
There are small notches that are supposed to line up with the vent slots at the bottom of the door to ensure water in the doors can drain out.

Gonna be doing this real soon.
Curious, do you lay the trim down on the adhesive or do you slightly stretch it? _________________ '74 Zambezi green Ghia vert, autostick, 108k
