Pretty sure that's Earth Spirit VW R&R on Vancouver Island. The couple from Kombi Life picked through and found one to restore. The tour starts at 6:30:

I think for that price the land should come with it. Then you can build a huge garage, hire 20 mechanics, and start restoring those buses! _________________ "Jo Ann" - '83.5 Westfalia EJ22e w/Peloquin |

That averages $6,500 per bus. Seriously. _________________ '90 Little Blue Truck, 2WD auto, FAS GenV 2.0 NA (AVH) |

If those were Pintos or Toyota Corollas we'd call the guy crazy. I want to know what they really sell for.

wonder whats under the covers? 6500 per bus. Maybe theres a couple real gems in there. Like under the covers. Otherwise 6500 is a pipe dream.
Although its just an asking price. Unless theres some gems 3k per is more reasonable for some old rusty/ moldy westys.
Add 100k and get the property too. Save you 10k in towing fees. _________________ Support Small Business.

It's the blue whale of bad part out threads
I parted out a P80 Volvo by listing the part number and price and condition note , that thing was a $5000 annuity on a $500 investment, plus another $2000 in parts I used to build a runner. I had 4 hours of strip time , too.
Compare to the typical " parting out car, lots of parts, text me for price" _________________ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ π π π |

I'll go ahead and do this deal after I win Powerball. I'll have them all extracted and transported to a warehouse and git to work.
However, the first Powerball order of business is to buy a 6.6 Trans Am and a Semi full of Coors and reenact Smokey and the Bandit with a truck driver friend from Golden. After that, I'm all over it. _________________ Joe T.

The article I saw had photos of many bay window tin tops and was calling the group mostly split window westfalias.
Not sure what the actual inventory is here. |

I'm definitely rooting for you to win the next powerball.
Dad and I went to see Smokey and the Bandit at the movie theater when it came out back in the olden days. We sat through it once and he looked at me and said "wanna watch it again?" so we stayed sitting and watched it a second time. That was at the Des Plaines movie theater near Chicago. It was also an unusual bit of fun for my dad and I appreciate the memory you inspired. _________________ - Jim

| Normally buying in bulk is cheaper. It seems to me like you are paying more for buying in bulk. I think he would be lucky to get half his asking price. Assuming you want to buy these rusty beasts, then you have to spend the cost of a mint condition Syncro Westy to ship 55 buses to your shop. Even with the age of the vehicles probably being exempt, I bet it would be a bureaucratic nightmare to take them from Canada to the U.S. Of course I'm guessing but I would think $2k U.S. per bus/van would be the highest anyone would pay and even at that price, the buyer would have a slim profit margin. |
