Hallo
Are type 3/34 gearbox have a different body with type 1 ones ?
Someone told me that they were different to allow type 3 engine to be lower ...

Not that I know of. About the only things different in a type 3/34 gear box and a type 1 gearbox are the final drive gearing (lower gearing for fuel mileage), and the hockey stick and nose cone. The hockey stick has the divot on the bottom, and the nose cone might use a different front trans mount. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Gearing is the same. The only difference is the shift coupler detent on the hockey stick. And Type ones sit the same height as a Type 3 _________________ If you`re going to do something, do it right. |
