I got this beauty home in about 15 months ago. She had 16" BBS porsche wheels, kerscher coilovers in front when i bought her.
April 2014 i parked her and started rebuild. I want a GL.

The car is very good about rust, only minor work. The paint on the car is from 74 i guess, because there is almost no paint on it. So thats my project, or that was the plan at first Cool

Now the car was going to stand still for a couple of months, and in december 2014 my good friend Jøran said that it was time to start sanding and to fix all the small dents and stuff

Of course the doors front hood and all small parts are finished and in very good condition.

The car was back home again Very Happy Very Happy

and I wondered what to do now. I could not paint it now and just be finished. I saw that the car needed lift off and to unscrew every bolt and nut.

I started to read on many forums to try to find what kind of parts I needed to make this a good germanlooker.

I want to do something with suspension, steering, gearbox, engine....

Engine is going to be a oxyboxer, this one I have started on, will come back on this.

Gearbox, steering and suspension I dont know yet. I am trying to find whiteline adjustable rear swaybar, think I have this soon now.

I think 3 instrument will look best, not finished with the thinking job, but 5 instruments like big brother looked too much.

A little time in the garage this evening and right side of irs is almost in pieces. I need some new tools to unscrew the driveshaft. I guess this had been easyer if I had not dismounted the handbrake Confused
I think a new 6 mm umbraco and a big drill will do Smile

Finished sandblasting the floorpan 2 weeks ago. Have been collecting parts to convert to porsche 944 rear trailing arms and brakes. So now I am only missing all the brake parts... 😁

Looks great! Very Happy Can't wait to see some more updates!

I'm (very slowly) going GL on my 1303 too. Currently at the de-rusting stage, it's been worse than I expected. Unfortunately I don't think my budget will stretch to a 5-speed box, but I have the 944 suspension already! Cool

▼▼▼ With you on this about T3s, a few years back I built a late squareback which was a great car!

Damn, that is going to be a helll of a nice car once done, that is for sure...

On Front Air Dams(Spoilers), you can get them out of a company in Australia, forget the name, but the only place I know were to get the Kombi replica ones... Hope this helps...

But yea, very nice work indeed, and a good score on the BBS's that came with it.. RB

New day, new possibilities or what it says....
The gearbox mounts are finished, next is to close the new gap or hole where the shiftcoupler is.
