The photos are of my inside light over the stove area. It’s not working. I put a new bulb in but I’m not sure how the circuit board works. It has two connectors. Is one power and one ground? Should both be connected to something? I’d run over to Radio Shack but... Any help is appreciated!

Yes power and ground connect to the 2 brass spade male
connectors. There should be 2 wires in the spice rack area. Brown is ground. |

Thank you! That helped! However it’s not working. Do you know of a new circuit board source or how to build one? Thanks for the reply. |

What is that out of? The PCB looks like it is to drive a small fluorescent tube. Is that so? _________________ '88 VW Westfalia

I deleted the fluorescent tube and gutted the fixture. I then added an LED strip with a reostat switch in place of the push button. There are threads on converting them. Stock looking, reliable and adjustable. |

and you can choose a warm white LED color instead of the 'are you feeling okay?' color tube that is usually there. the incandescent festoon lights also have a nice color and really don't draw too much. _________________ -dan

That's similar to what I did on the EV, which has two of these type lights. I added a two position switch to each so the lights come on when any of the doors are opened, or manually. Fluorescent is a dead technology. I piggybacked on a bunch of LED strip lighting with a rheostat, so we could turn down the lumens, as this combo is very bright. _________________ Casey--

It’s out of a 1979 Westfalia Camper. I connected it to a power probe with ground and then energized it with power to test. No go! I do like the LED idea. I’ll look up the thread. Thank you so much everyone. |
