Looking for an A/C system to install in a rare RHD 1960 Ghia convertible. I have been told that the condenser mounting for RHD is different, but I don't know that for sure. Any information and/or pics would be greatly appreciate it

I can’t say if I.C.E. ( http://iceautoair.com/index-1.html ) or Gilmore ( https://gilmore-enterprises.net/ https://gilmore-enterprises.net/ ) has a RHD under dash blower. They might. If nothing else they have all the other parts and pieces to build a system if you can find a period correct blower.
Otherwise, there is this outfit. https://www.classicautoair.com/universal_air_conditioning_custom_ac/
I’m sure they have a little unit that can be adapted with tin snips somehow.

Hose routing will be your major consideration. You have to avoid the steering so it all needs to be routed on the opposite side.

I sent an email to Autoware in Australia. It looks like their dash unit is universal in that it would work with LHD and RHD, but it looks to be notched out to fit the drop down in a Beetle dash. Hopefully they have some answers

Last time I looked they wouldn't ship to New Zealand. I respect their decision but I've been wondering why ever since.

I'd be interested to know how you went about it, please. My Ghia is in dire need of a project and aircon is at the top of my list. That and a really quiet exhaust.

Mines a long term project at the moment- will definitely post some photos with more details on the kit at some point at the moment engine is being built and shop is working on making a custom underdash vent as wasn't that keen on the one that came with the kit.
