Does anyone make the rubber gasket to go in between the over rider to the bumper?

You're welcome. Yeah not stock, but they are a nice improvement and after painting they stop the usual rust when metal to metal contact happens.Makes perfect sense to me, and looks nice.

Looks Ghia-ish... on chrome it's not very noticeable.

On a painted bumper... the contrast draws your eyes to it, and it's not an accent worth drawing your eyes to. IMHO

I haven't really noticed any nicely restored (or original) bumpers (without rubber seals) with detracting rust issues at the guard/towel bar interface with the blade.
Maybe it's there and I just don't notice it.

I think the Brazilians started the rubber seal on bus bumper fad.

Isn't the rubber 'seal' on bumper parts to hide sloppy fit?

I don't think rust at the joins is a big thing. This bus got parked outside in Oly, WA (150 days of rain a year), and the bumpers were rattle canned about 6 years before:

The accessory rubber on the uprights hides dings. Smile

I've done two buses with these rubber isolators. Being nice or ugly is up to the beholder. It does make assembly nicer & I swear it stops the squeaks down the road-later. It also allows full assembly of the overriders (loose until fully aligned w/o scratching paint) then tightened which also keeps everything permanently snug. On the uprights, these are wide, not just thin little grooved (like widow rubber)they sit flat on the bumper-almost 2" wide each side. Show me a towel bar that fits right in it's holes. I don't like aftermarket parts much, but these are A+ in my book. Chip B's LED taillights are also something I really like that are mega far from stock. I will stop at headlamp eyelashes though, good way to assure rusted buckets & steal the owl look.

Beholder... true.
This sub-10k mile bus looks to have nice fitting bumper components. (click each image slowly two times to enlarge)
