This is difficult for me to describe, for sure it depends of the welder you use, i tried a lot and traveled to courses, and i still make it different everytime.
You can come over and i show it to you.
some many, many, little works done the last days.
for example:
-Painted the center of the disc Brakes to made them look more like drums.
-paintet the exhaust.
-finished the number plate light
-preserve the inside of the long sidewall and finally mounted the interior panel.
-installed two more pop out windows
-cleaned, preserved and sealed the last 3 pop out windows.

I really love your make-do attitude ! that stepped exhaust pipe adapter came to great use I remember doing a similar job on my 67 SC, only I was using stainless wheelchair handles....worked ok, was loud, didn't rust. _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !

Yes, that seems like a very good idea!
But do you have another Barndoor, besides the yellow ''Bundespost'' bus...?! |

Wow!
Great photo, and how did you get the camera exposure inside and outside to balance like that? _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

Hi Christian,
I have at least a NOS L-code tumbler here left over from a complete set, which Used on my bus. I have a sliding door as you know, so I didn't need it.
Let me know if you want it.
Hey you were at the Maikäfertreffen! Me too! But for some reason we didn't meet. Probably my eyeballs were tacked to all the parts lying around and I ignored everything else...
Waiting so long for the inspection is pretty annoying! _________________ 02/24/2022
