Thanks. Trying my best. Learning as I go.

Here’s a small update.

My spot welder had a limit of 1,5-1,5mm.
The frame and the boxing in the front is just above that.

Tried it from short weld to way to long. But it didn’t work.
Shocked

Guess it’s drill time then. Laughing

Have done some reading on swapping in beetle front spindles on a BD front beam. All sounds pretty dam good.
And I got some friends running em as well.
But finding spindles was easier sad then done.
Ended up with buying a hole frontbeam.
Easier to find and I’m pretty sure it was cheaper as well.

Is it really forth on converting to disc brakes?

Took it apart last night. Today I will try to remove the drum and brakes.

I’m posting on everything right now. Sry for that. Very Happy

Hope you enjoy all small updates as well.

The front beam is pretty bad in some spots.

Don’t know if I will just get some new towers or just run the short ones.

Will be done later.

The metal is to thin on this.

It doesn't look too bad on the pictures, only surface rusted.
Much respect for your efforts! You're basically create a whole bus out of some leftovers with maximum respect to everything that's left of the original.
