That is a big bite to chew. $450.
However...some of those hoses are either NLA or close to it.
I'd hate to lose a hose on a trip, but would it be worth carrying the entire package? If I am in, say, Cody Wyoming or Bend Oregon Fallon Nevada, having those hoses night save a trip. _________________ Larry in OB

Bend, Oregon may actually be the best place to break down on the west coast as German Transaxle is located there!

X2. I believe that Ken (GTA Owner) and the fellas can do engine repairs.
IIRC, I asked about timing chain replacements when I picked up my EV back in December at GTA. Ken stated that they could have done the timing chains while they had my trans on the work bench. _________________ I have learned over the years.

Score. Great find. Count me as "some". For those familiar with "billable hours" and that I lack a place to wrench, this is fantastic source. I'll add this to our parts ordinance case for trips out into the hinterlands. _________________ Old stable: '63 Baja, '69 Square, '72 Bug, '65 & '67 Samba, '73 412 wagon & 2dr 4spd

That's actually worth it and I may pull the trigger on one of those kits. What I see as a huge benefit is the elimination of several plastic t-fittings that can fail with no warning. Fewer clamped connections = fewer possible failure points. _________________ If it ain't broke, don't fix it! |

The name URO puts the fear of God into anyone who has used their rubber parts.
Thatโs a Tampa area code, where is there stuff made? If itโs China, pass until you get your hands on it and evaluate quality. A back up kit of cheaper rubber isnโt worth $45 to me ,much less $450
Fits all 1990-2003 Eurovans with VR6 engine isnโt confidence inspiring. _________________ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐ ๐ ๐ |

UroTuning is not URO.
The silicone hose kits are from Autobahn Autoworx in SC; they back it up with a 5-year warranty. _________________

Why not just make a custom set of wires with a Y splice in them. Then you could just run one distributor. |

If someone actually went to the trouble to mold these for us 8n silicone, we should buy them to keep them in business. _________________ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐บ๐ธ ๐ ๐ ๐ |

Looks like the manufacturer/importer has been making hoses for Corrado and others for at least 5 years, without much complaining on the interwebs.
Price isn't cheap but neither are the OEM pieces, whichever ones are still available now. If these had been available when I was refreshing my MV I would have done the full set and put the stockers in a box for spares. |
