I don't know, my kids are around 40 and absolutely LOVED the Super Bowl half time show this year..........

| My 40-year-old son's favorite band is the same as mine: Creedence Clearwater Revival. For those who don't know, this band was so popular in '69 and '70 that they outsold the Beatles. They were the #1 band in the world those 2 years. |

Maybe we have well rounded kids - our son used to wig out his high school teachers when the topic got to music on his pretty in-depth knowledge of bands, both popular and obscure back when my husband and I were kids (wide range of time, since he's 10 years older than I am).
I love that my kids have such a well developed appreciation of all varieties of music.

The Doors are my #3 trailing only CCR and The Doobie Bros. Recently, my 40-year-old daughter has given CCR a lot of play. I was surprised because she used to always listen to Whitney Houston. It must be in the genes. Go figure. |

| I saw van halen openen for black sabbath in 78 wow what a show. I think I saw caned heat somewhere....I think Ive forgotten many of the bands Ive seen. I saw bostin a month beofre or after vanhalen. I think sammy hagar opened for them....but not possiative.dam mind is a terriable thing to loose. haygar may of opened for rush....or...fleetwoodmack.or...crap there all playing togeather in my head these days, execpt for eddie money.I think he likes it solo. |

Black Sabbath opening for Van Halen is ok. How about Aerosmith opening for The Beach Boys.....I saw this train wreck around 1980. Actually went for the Beach Boys and Aerosmith was so much better. |
