Hi,
I have a Syncro Westy.

How can I power some (but not all) of the circuits on the factory fuse panel from the house battery? For example, the fridge is already powered by the house battery on a sub panel, but the stereo is powered by the primary battery on the factory panel.

I'm trying to avoid the process of installing another "sub panel" and physically moving wires from the factory panel to the new panel.

I'm assuming that the factory panel has a single source input (from the primary battery), so I won't be able to provide a second input voltage source in order to pick and choose which circuits are powered from the house battery.

Thanks in advance for some quick opinions or links.

Unfortunately you have to de-pin or cut and connect wires and make new fuses for the circuits.
The (late) fuse panel has only one battery+ve input and it is distributed by hard traces inside the panel.

In the rare case you have an early syncro with the bullet type fuses then you can route new feed wires for the different fuses.

just redirect the stereo power input with a new feed from the aux battery
it's done all the time..

nothing else in the main fuse block really needs to be on Aux..
if you are concerned on door lights, switch the bulbs to LEDs

Depends what you want to power - this is a reasonably common mod in the UK to change the 'house' features run by the starter battery:

came to post this, it's a none destructive method and allows to switch back if you have a problem with the house battery and want to jam the tunez or have interior lights
