Sorry if this has been asked before. I've read through posts but unable to find the answer.
I'm trying to find out if the seat vinyl was smooth, medium grain or heavily grained pattern.
Does anyone have a picture of the original seat vinyl. ?

Many thanks

Jon

It's a rather small and regular pebble style grain. this is from and all og 1953 Single Cab bench seat. you can use the wiper parts as a size reference.

'pebble' grain leather/leatherette is usually 'calf skin' leather. It's different to the grain of leather from older cattle.

You might want to see if you can get hold of a sample of Mazda MX5 / Miata soft top vinyl to compare to those pictures. It's supposed to be a good match for the vinyl used in mid-50s bench seats that have a similar grain to those pictures.
