Has anyone done a popout conversion in a late squareback? Looking for tips and tricks, Photos etc...

If you want to do it like the factory, you'll need the hooks in your B-pillars, and the pop-out latch mounting point on the C-pillars.

Hopefully the pictures help. There are people who have gone more creative routes. If you search "popouts" in the forum, there are a few threads.

I used Dave's method when I did them in my 71 Notch. Worked out real well for me with a couple of minor changes. See pages 18 thru 22 of my Krusty thread in my signature below.

I played with adding them with the bug hinges. Garaged it would be ok but rain they would leak even closed. I am not gonna go that route I will keep the closed windows. If you can weld a small tab on the pillar to use the original hooks it would be best imo few ways to create that tab or swap it in from a older one.
