Hi guys, anybody have any experience in mounting a
Hirschmann automatic Antenna behind the splash guards of a Ghia?
The support brackets for the splash guards seem to stop the Antenna from going in.
I don't know how this guy did it (looks like he has no splash guard brackets)
I think partially disassembling the antenna will not work as I will have to reassemble while reaching into the tight space with very little hand room?
One Idea might be to cut the bracket, but it needs to go back to keep the splash guard in place.
If you've down one before show us how ya did it!
Cheers

Is that a power antenna? I have several original manual antennas and never had a problem. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Yes power antenna, auto antenna. Manual is not a problem but the motor unit and the mast together will not squeeze past the 2 splash guard brackets |
