Does anyone know what these carbs and intakes fit? I rediscovered them in one of my boxes of stuff and I don't recall exactly where I got them.
I have a pair. They are identical (I think) but I have no linkage.
Any ideas? _________________ Confusious say it takes it takes two wipes to know you need three, but it takes three wipes to know it only needed two. |

Gonna guess by the big 'W' on the side that they are Webers? _________________ Build thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=212747

Brazilian Webers too by the language on the metal plate on the fuel bowl. IIRC these pre-date the 34 Pict replacements. Do a search, someone else on TheSamba brought these carby types up maybe early last year.
Oh yeah, there's a brazilian guy that has popped in to join up last year. Maybe PM him (if you can find his posts!)?

Brazilian Weber DFV 228, I believe.
Rebuild kits are available from Portugal and Brazil. I would like to hear about a US supplier if anyone knows of one. |

Thanks for the replies folks. I knew they were Webers, I figured that would be obvious. I also figured Brazilian from the text on the tag, but what vehicle were they for? I did a little searching, but I didn't find anything of significance. Thinking of setting up linkage to try to run these. If anyone knows of rebuild kits that would be great.
Thanks again, Corey _________________ Confusious say it takes it takes two wipes to know you need three, but it takes three wipes to know it only needed two. |

| They are Weber DFV228, imported and distributed by CB Performance many years ago. You would have to contact CB to check availability of kits. |
