Hi all. Been working on my bus for a while. I’ve got all the metal work done 99% of the filler and straightening work is finished. I have used master series primer on the undercarriage and painted that in a dove gray urethane. Wondering what the next step is on the upper part of my bus should I spray the whole thing in a self etching primer or sandable primer like a K 36. I know I still need to prime and sand but didn’t know what I should apply directly over the bare metal spots and body filler. Thanks.

Epoxy primer from southern polyurethane. (SPI)
I use SPI epoxy over Sandblasted, sanded w 80 grit bare metal.
You can apply your filler over that it adheres very well.
I have used on several cars and it is very workable.
I have a couple threads here with the process I used.
Noth claiming to be a professional but everything is holding up well
After many years.
When the occasional accidental chip happens it never goes to bare metal.
The epoxy is the bomb.
Cheers. Early _________________ early-
