Im building a set of adapters to install RGB,s in my bug. Are the torsion housing to axle centerlines the same?

Yes they are the same distance apart. If you just making a J type of block to attach reduction box to spring plate, you will actually need to cut off end of spring plate where it would slip around Bug axle tube.

or just go ahead and build a 4 link for it so you can eliminate the anti- squat now vs. later

I have a rebuild 1964 B&D transmission (MI) that has never been installed. I'm going to take the tranny and the RGB parts to them and have them inspect and assemble everything. I think I need a different nose cone to fit the 64 in my 57 as well.
