Thanks for finding that! Do you think the gas tank has the tire pressure info? Seems kinda odd, but as I can’t read what’s in my photo zi can’t really tell |

I have that same sticker, in the same location, on my '67 Ghia's original fuel tank.
It measures 80mm X 29mm.
Tire pressure stickers were sometimes applied to the inside of the glove box door too. _________________ '63 Ragtop (current)

I know the tire pressure debate has been covered here ad infinitum but I’ll never feel comfortable running my low profile tires at 17psi. _________________ Volkswagen!

Thanks guys for the artwork uploads and links, I've managed to get one on my tank now!
I took the photo modoc 333 posted and drew it up in a drawing programme and matched the fonts (as near as I could get them)
I have a water slide decal machine and printed out the artwork in opaque white and trimmed the paper tight to the edge
It's difficult to see the white image on the pale blue backing paper but once it's done you just dip in water until the decal starts to separate from the backing sheet
Once in place on the tank I use a soft brush to push out any air bubbles
When it was dry masked the area and sprayed over the decal with Testors Top Cote to protect it
The final result looks pretty good all I can see is the white image and no raised edge like you might get with a vinyl sticker
The decal printer is very temperamental but it's a handy tool I also used it to print red decals for my Oil bath air cleaner
