I am looking for the guy who made lowered beam mount brackets that eliminated the bolts on the bottom for better clearance. I did a search and can't find anything. Anyone know what I am talking about? I haven't seen them in a while. _________________ Frank

Most people on here just make their own. It's basically removing the square nut that's welded to the bracket, fold the bracket back and flat and weld a new nut in place once it's all bolted up. You could do a search of lowered beam mounts to see how others have done it. You might try doing a search in the classifieds to see who sells them too. I hope this helps. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Thanks Bob. I searched the classifieds before the post and struck out. I also went on a Google search rabbit hole and found this pic...
Looks like they all might be custom made and no one person is doing batches. _________________ Frank

Yeah, the one on the left is something you'll have to make (I kind of described it in my first post). The one on the right is the stock set up. If you look at the bolt-nut set up, you can see why people are relocating it, as the lip for the bolt gets pounded around the bolt head, making removal near impossible in the future.
Yeah, they're all usually custom made, as some figure out a "better place to put the nut part". That's what determines the length of the metal "strap" portion. No two are exactly a like.
You might try contacting Russell @Old Speed, unless you know a good local fabricator. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
