I don't know if replica/aftermarket AFMs have been mentioned here. Found on aliexpress, etc (search for "AFM"). Though they aren't advertised for Vanagon (AFAICT), they look familiar. There are so many characteristics that could potentially be wrong or incompatible with Vanagon/T3, and the AFM isn't a part that should be out of spec. I would not consider a purchase unless someone has examined and can vouch for them.
The one pictured here has seven pins, so maybe it could handle the Fuel Pump circuit like Vanagon air cooled AFC/L-Jetronic uses. Maybe that could be converted to the five pin connector used with Digijet/Digifant. No mention about the air temp sensor, but often sellers don't know their products well enough to specify.
Just FYI.

my order of preference in a rebuilt would be, hands down, the product developed in the Netherlands. they are a Samba sponsor also and you can see their link sometimes in the footer. detail here:

second, would be to replace your own board:

lastly, i would not fool around with one with different pin configurations, especially direct from China where it might end up in tariff purgatory. much better to get a rebuilt from one of the vendors that will stand behind it if it turns out to be a turd. _________________ -dan
