 Hello all.Say I am in the process of making my door key fit my ignition.I can not locate a video I seen on this forum. That explains how to re-key both items(door ,ig,switch).Does anyone recall this video,or have other videos ,on "How DIY". Thx all theduck.  |

Hopefully you have the original '67 K-code ignition switch? The aftermarket replacement ignition switches for Beetles ~'67 often use a single cut key common on pre-'67 ignitions. This key is not the same key shape as the door keys.
Here is a quote from an article on the 1967Beetle.com site:

See the pics in the article and you will understand if your ignition switch has the correct key type.

| Hello,my ignition is a different key.I located on this forum,last night how to re-key your door and ignition key to be one key only.I just can't locate it.I am trying different topic words but no luck |
