Is it just the louvres and lock hole?

Just wondering if I can adapt this £38 replacement skin to repair my 1967 treasure chest door:

rather than having to buy a complete door for 650 Euros!

The latch is totally different on 67. However, if you weld up the openings on the 65 skin and recut for the 67 lock hole it should be fine.

Just noticed the 67 has TWO vent slots; earlier has 3. So need to remove and fill one as well on that skin.

The vents are fine on mine, so I'm thinking I can cut them out of mine and transplant to the new skin. Although now, sat indoors I'm wondering if tomorrow I should look at whether making a repair section for the bottom is maybe a better way to go...
