Under the dash lip in the center. From 71-73 there was a radio bracket with plastic surround just for the type 3. The steel bracket was just a "U" shaped bracket to hold the radio. I hope this helps. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

^ From the gallery- maduell on a '72, dealer installation:
The bracket screws into the bottom lip of the dash edge, then the radio slides into the bracket. The bracket is sized for a "DIN-spec" radio.

I made this in Blender and 3D printed it. It's not a full DIN stereo, it's just a bluetooth receiver thing. If you want I could dig up the file and send it to you, or print you one off if you'd pay shipping. |

I made a panel for two gauges surrounding the steering column
Bluetooth stereo receiver, cross-over, amps, two 6.5" coaxials and one 10" subwoofer in the trunk (Notchback)
