Glass-action.com makes fiberglass speaker panels to fit all Bugs, Supers, Ghias, Type 3, and all Convertibles. No holes have been drilled, so put whatever speakers you like up to 6.5 dia. They come in black, with a textured finish, that can be painted, but the most people cover them with a carpet kit. Our panels will never crack or break like those cheap plastic knockoffs! Pic is the Standard Bug Panels, then shown installed in a Bug. Although we suggest putting insulation behind them, like in our instructions. Some Models are slightly higher.
