After 2+ years of trouble-free testing on customers motors we feel confident that these have met our quality standards. These 1.45 forged ratio rockers feature 8620 precision ground, heat-treated shafts; used to stop unwanted flex and breakage. They also eliminate side thrust loads from one rocker to the other, further reducing unwanted noise. Furnished with 4 x GB 409A studs plus 4 8 x 15mm HD heat-treated head nuts to ensure the best fit to the head; and 1 x GB 369-8 lash caps (for Manley stainless steel valves).
Sets are completely assembled and lubed, ready to bolt on, and include Gene Berg copyrighted instructions. Available unassembled for $245.
NOTE: When you install Berg ratio rocker arm sets you must check for coil bind or retainer bottoming on the guide, on every valve. Pushrods will need to be approx .200" shorter than with stock rocker arms, but you will need to trial assemble the engine and use an adjustable pushrod, such as our GB 420 to determine your actual needs.
