[WTB] Parent's black 1955 or 1956 bug Price: reasonable

I know it's a long shot, but I'm looking for my parent's old black 1955 or 1956 bug, with 1956 CA license plates (black on yellow) "FWC 201" or "FWG 201" (hard to tell in original slide without old-school projector/screen set-up. If you live near Redlands Ca and have this set-up, I'd like to use it to verify the plate number). Photo shows the car on now-abandoned portion of highway east of Panamint Springs CA, on the way to Death Valley, presumably before I was born.
