Bent Wood Hinge Cover for 64-67 Westy
These were used on 64 and early '65 SO-33, SO-34, SO-35 Westfalia campers, and also some SO-44s.
These were not used on SO-42s, those came with headbanger cabinets.
It was used on 64-67 Westfalia campers that did NOT have the headbanger cabinet.
This is patterned off a couple originals. Each original was slightly different. The originals tend to get the 'ears' broken off when they are out of a bus.
The Hinge Cover is made of Baltic Birch. It comes pre-bent!
This price is for bare wood, not varnished. Apply your choice of finish to it. I recommend no stain, just a clean satin varnish/ polyurethane.
It is not pre-drilled for screws, as screw locations were not placed exactly in the same from bus to bus.
It does not include the plastic F molding. Just this awesome piece of bent wood.
You can also put this in your 64-67 kombi.
You can get it painted grey.
