NEW Barndoor Bus to 55 Ashtray Mounting Bracket Price: $34

NEW item.
Many folks may not be aware of the difference for passenger seating area ashtrays but Barndoor uses a unique mounting bracket compared to post Barndoor buses. You will see the differences in the photos.
Like several of the items I make, I needed this part and as you may imagine it is impossible to find and if found it probably looks like the one in the photos, rusty.
Since I needed 2 of these for my own bus, I went ahead and made some tooling to make them.
These are made using polished stainless steel so you will never need to worry about rust and can re-polish if necessary.
Please note that while polished, there will be various markings from production but really only the edges show when installed.
Included is a set of stainless machine screws and/or black crush rivets closest to originals that I could obtain.
If only buying one bracket please not which hardware you need. Screws are used for the middle seat and rivets are used for the seat wall.
If buying a pair you will get one of each set of hardware unless you request differently.
With all of the Barndoor restorations these days along with new interiors being reproduced, I would bet you are missing the unique piece.
Barndoor Standard and Deluxe both use 2 of these. One on the seat wall and the other on the back of the middle seat.
Price is for one(1) mounting plate.
Only the repro mounting bracket is for sale in this ad. The ashtray and original brackets are not for sale and only in photos for visual purposes.
