Can be used on VW Baja, Dune Buggy, ETC to give it a low ratio transmission for big tires etc or fast hole shots!!, etc with or in an IRS transmission.
OEM VW part # is ... VW - 211-517-143-4
The Pinion has 7 teeth, and the Ring has 36 teeth, The RATIO 36/7 ... 5.14 . this is 100% certain .. the 1968-1975 bus uses a 5.38 ratio ... this is the same ratio and can be installed in VW bug transmissions... this replaces the ring and pinion and rives you the lower "bus " ratio...
