[WTB] Steering Gear Box/Rack and Pinion 1990 Fox Wagon Price: Negotiable

Dear Friends,
Hope all is well...
I have been hearing a rattling like sound on the drivers side that seems to be coming from the Steering Gearbox area.. which is located up against the firewall. The noise is non existent on nice flat surfaces, but when you hit small or larger bumps in the road/when your turning/while backing up you are likely to hear it. I can't feel the noise through the steering wheel and the car steers fine and everything seems to be tight. I just had the upper strut mount replaced and nothing was out of spec there. It seems like after replacing this strut mount though the noise has become more clear/obvious?!?
This is my 3rd Fox wagon and over 500K miles traveled between them and I have never heard a noise like this one.
I'd like some feedback on this odd symptom and possibly and option to buy a replacement.
