I am happy to announce Rare Air MFG has Convertible Bug Semaphore Pockets in stock! These are the same dimensions and gauge sheet metal as the originals. Your CONVERTIBLE semaphores will bolt directly into these units using your original hardware. I also make semaphore pockets that can be installed into a convertible bug but uses a modified sedan semaphore. Contact me for info on how to modify a sedan semaphore to fit into a convertible. The main reason a sedan semaphore will not fit in a convertible quarter panel is because it will not close tight enough. A convertible bug semaphore closes tighter because there is less space from the rear quarter windows that roll up and down. I also have semaphore pockets that can be used to install sedan semaphores in a bug front quarter or even an early bus. Shipping is $10 anywhere in the US and $35 anywhere else.
